What you should know
What matters about this phone
The Find N5 is a showcase for how little bulk a book-style folding phone can have, while retaining a genuinely tablet-like display.
The documented initial commercial milestone is 2025-02-24 in Singapore early pre-order collection; global regional launch.
Design, screen and everyday experience
Its thin, relatively light frame is important because it addresses the nuisance that keeps some buyers from using foldables every day. The larger inner workspace makes multitasking practical, not just theatrical.
Cameras and practical compromises
Its cameras are competent, but camera leadership is not guaranteed merely because the body carries a high-end name. Long-range zoom and highly detailed night images deserve comparison with slab flagships.
Strengths, weaknesses and the independent review
Tom’s Guide admires the industrial design and stamina while questioning geographic availability and support horizon. OPPO’s global event did not mean official sales throughout Europe or North America.
Tom’s Guide tested a remarkably thin design and strong battery for the category while flagging poor availability and shorter support. The findings are attributable to Tom’s Guide; they are not tests performed by GearVerity.
Who should buy it — and who should avoid it?
Worth considering for: Foldable enthusiasts who can buy and service this exact model through an authorized local channel.
A poor fit for: Import-only buyers without repair support or users wanting the longest stated software horizon.
2026 purchase, regional and software checks
Original Singapore sales included early collection from 24 February; later Europe retail was not assured.
Ask local OPPO support for precise patch and hardware repair commitments.
